MISPA Diploma Course

Year One 2026/27 Dates

Classes take place on a Tuesday. Time: 18:45-21:15 GMT/BST (Q&A sessions: 18:45-20:00 GMT/BST)

Each term consists of four core classes and one supervision group plus various additional lectures, video material and activities that will be posted each term. (Some classes have a pre-recorded component followed by a live Q&A session.) Students also get to pick one free webinar of their choice per term, they may attend extra webinars at a student rate.

Module 1 – The Psyche

Tuesdays. Dates: 20 October to 24 November 2026

• Introduction to Jungian psychology and the persona
• Complexes and projection
• The shadow
• The anima and animus
• Supervision group
• A webinar of your choice
• A conversation with… A session of informal discussion and questions with seasoned astrologers.

Module 2 – Relationships

Tuesdays. Dates: 2 February – 9 March 2027

• Parental images and family dynamics (2 lessons)
• Relationship astrology – synastry and composites (2 lessons)
• Supervision group
• A webinar of your choice
• A conversation with… A session of informal discussion and questions with seasoned astrologers.

Module 3 – Navigating the Future

Tuesdays. Dates: 4 May – 8 June 2027

• The psychology of transits, progressions and directions (2 lessons)
• Life cycles
• Solar returns
• Supervision group
• A webinar of your choice
• A conversation with… A session of informal discussion and questions with seasoned astrologers.

Plus 8+ hours of additional recorded lecture content and occasional extra sessions available to both years.

Year Two

Classes, Webinars and supervisions take place on a Sunday, Time: 15:30-18:00 GMT/BST (Q&A and short sessions: 15:30-16:45 GMT/BST)

Each term will have three webinars each given by a different tutor or visiting lecturer and 2 core classes. (Some classes have a pre-recorded component which may be followed by a live Q&A session.) For current webinars see our webinar page.

There will be one supervision group per term with students split into smaller groups with a separate tutor. Supervision groups are a time to share charts you are working on with the group to practice your skills and to ask for advice.
Each student will have a one hour oral assessment with a tutor in the third term.

• 15^th November 2026 – Lynn Bell – Body and Psyche Lesson Q&A (1 ¼ hr)
• 22^nd November 2026 – Shawn Nygaard- The Life of Death – The Animating Forces of the 8th House
• 29^th November 2026 – Supervision Groups
• 7^th December 2025 – John Green & Katja Boon – Saturnalia – A Return of the Light (1 ¼ hr)

Module 6

• The consulting astrologer
• Chart narration
• All three webinars
• Supervision group
• A conversation with… A session of informal discussion and questions with seasoned astrologers. (Tuesday session)

Chart Narration and The Consulting Astrologer Lessons will be part recording and part live Q&A

Plus 8+ hours of additional recorded lecture content and occasional extra sessions available to both years.

Webinar topics covered each year will be various, some covering special areas of interest of the lecturer, others looking at more core themes.

Topics may include, but are not limited to, subjects such as:- current cycles, planetary archetypes, signs and houses, aspects, techniques and ethics of forecasting, relationship astrology, interpretation techniques, body/mind, myths, counselling skills and other techniques such as midpoints, harmonics etc.
